EXPLANATION WRITING/ Lockdown

 EXPLANATION WRITING 

T	Title - What you will be explaining?
I	Introduction - Tell your audience what the topic is about and what is to be explained.
I	Information - Explain the elements or steps in a logical sequence
C	Conclusion - Final summarising statement, an evaluation or comment about what you have explained.

IDEAS - 

Title What is your writing topic?	My Lockdown experience
Introduction	Hook your reader - write a question, a statement or a definition about your topic Hey Cuzz, fah we cant even go to Koros tangi eah.  He has to stay in the freezer at the morgue until we are allowed out of our house.  That's sad as man.   Tell your reader what your topic is about and what 3 elements you are going to  explain
Information	Start with First OR Firstly...  Tell your reader about your FIRST element  (1 -2 sentences) First they told us we could be with him then only the old people went.  It's for our safety, they said.  Covid is a killer, but I wear my mask and disinfect my hands. They don't care about how we feel. -Explain your FIRST  element -Give an example of your FIRST element (3-4 sentences)
Information	Start with Secondly OR Next OR Also Tell your reader about your SECOND element (1 -2 sentences) It's already been a month and we are moving to level 3 soon so hopefully we can take Koro home.  Some of the Whanau were talking about cremating him, he has been alone for too long my poor Koro.  But he would get up and slap us if we did, it is not our tradition none of this is, heck we can't even hongi when we see each other.  -Explain your SECOND idea -Give an example of your SECOND element (3-4 sentences)
Information	Start with Finally OR Then…   Tell your reader about your THIRD idea (1 -2 sentences) Anyway cuzz sorry that you can't come over and be with us.  I’m not even sure we're allowed to travel home. We have borders now cuzz.  With cops and everything.  It’s scary as, Our generation's shouldn't be living like this. -Explain your THIRD idea -Give an example of your THIRD idea (3-4 sentences)
Summary	Share the three elements you have written about again - try to use some different words/phrases (1 -2 sentences)  Finish your writing with a question OR your overall opinion about the topic OR an interesting statement about the topic for your reader to think about  (1-2 sentences Anyway cousin If you get your vaccinations you can come home and isolate at our home together, before hopefully we can get home to see him.  And then we can hongi.

What do you meme - Mr Goodwin your career will go somewhere (in 3 years)

Today, We learnt how to post from our Email, Mr Goodwin this is just payback for not coming to netball, and leaving school.

Types of superheros - Reading

For this task, We were learning types of superheros, For example a comic hero, Like Superman or wonder women! My favourite comic hero is Iron man! Whats your favourite superhero?  Does he keep his powers/Identity a secret? or does the whole world know him! Feel free to comment! 

algebra: Maths topic

 

For this task, We were Learning algebra or basically understanding algebra.

Olympic project topic - Young athletes

 

For this task, We had to pick a topic about the Olympics! Me and my panther Finau decided to pick Young athletes! we are still carrying on but i can't wait for the finish result! 

Colours in Maori!

 

For this task we did Maori! this time we had to learn colours!  

Valerie Adams

Valerie Adams is a New Zealand shot putter. She is a four-time World champion! She has a personal best throw of 21.24 metres outdoors and 20.54 m indoors. She has 2 wonderful girls and is happily married!, When she was 36 she got a sliver medal and another person got a gold medal but! The next day Valerie Adams won the gold medal due to the person who got the gold medal was taking illegal equipment! She now is happy in her life!

The best part of Term 2 was FiaFia, Because everything was amazing and it went well. My Favourite Group had to be the a Cook island group! But the hardest part of Term 2 was Getting used to the work. But I Learnt something and that something was Area or a Square and Hour time! I can't wait for Term 3!

For this task, We had to Solve time problems! Well basically in hour time. This includes lots of different characters and lots of Problems for us to solve!

Kia ora, Im Atawhai and today i am going to tell you something about how to be a good leader. Let me give you an example: are you a good leader?

 Well one way to be a good leader is to be responsible for your actions, which means to always keep your hands to yourself, And we all know that Koreo because it's mostly common in pes. Let me say more about a good leader.  

Most people have different types of perspectives, for example: A bad leader, A selfish leader, A Hogger leader and the leader that takes all the credit. But to be a good leader is to respect the team that you have and to always be brave. Thank you for listening and I hope this gave you reasons on how to be a good leader.

Task description: For this task i had to create a piece of work that tells us/you how to be a good leader, I hope this gives you information to be a good leader!

For this task, We has to Create a simple Reading which is "Revise the clause".  This includes Nouns and Pronouns and ect.

For this task we had to tell time in hour Time, We would love to see Mr Morans dad come by and tell us more about hour time.

Cybersmart challenge - Week 6

This is week 6 cyber smart challenge from Mr Goodwin. Also thank you Mr Goodwin for putting these cyber smart challenges for this whole year! 

Turbulence - Paul Mason

 

For this task, We had to read a Story called "Turbulence" and its from Paul Mason. If you don't know what Turbulence means well then search it up.

Kiwi Kids news - What are Climate rights!

 

So this is the same as the other two down below! But this is about our Climate rights! 

Kiwi kids news - Nebraska man Makes 60 naked sky dives!

 

A Nebraska man set the new record of " 60 Naked sky dives ", His name is Rian Kanouff  and yes he is Nebraska. I have no idea why he made this risk of doing 60 naked sky dives, But lets hope the camera mans okay. 

Tornado - In Papatoetoe

 

For this learning he had to learn about a tornado that had hit Papatoetoe in the weekend. 

We pray for the people that are now homeless and we pray for the other two people that lost there lives to soon.
