Leadership!

 

This is my learning for today and it is about Leadership!

Lab equipment's

 A couple weeks ago my tech group learnt about different types of science equipment's which is a Petri dish which is a Laboratory glassware, Thermometer which is something to test temperature and ect, Bunsen Burner which is a kind of gas burner, Pipet which is for transferring or measuring out small quantities of liquid, especially in a laboratory, and lots more. I can't wait to use them in the future!

Matheson bay

 Our trip to Matheson bay went amazing, There were volunteers that helped us. Snorkelling in the dark blue water was amazing there were lots of animals that include large starfish, Snappers , Kina/kina shells and lots more, It was like a dream. On our second activity we went for a bush walk which went amazing. There was strong webs too, I hope i can go there next year!

Planet Earth

 

Mrs West gave us a scenario about earth? Like Where would we live if earth was dying and etc. This was our project for the year 7&8 Extension this term. Me and my Partner Finau are working on Pollution and the air and also how is it affecting us? How me and Finau are going to work this out is to narrow it down until we get less answers but also efficient answers that describe what were talking about and for it to make more sense for us. Tallest Tower!

 Today My Reading group did a challenge, The main thing we had to do was who can build the Tallest tower with only Pipe cleaners and Straws! It was pretty difficult because they wobbled a lot!, The reason why my team was able to come second was on how we communicated and participated. in the end we built a big Tower if i say so myself.
