A Manatee is a large mammal with flippers and a flat round tail. Manatees are also known as sea cows. They have large, strong tails that power their swimming. They are gentle creatures that live in shallow or deep waters. In the winter Manatees survive by finding warm water to live in until winter is over .Manatees are herbivores and can eat lots of Seagrass,Algae and weeds.
